Over the past few weeks I've been researching stones and trying to decide what one to use for my project. I've decided to use the aquamarine. Its a beautiful clear to blue stone, the name comes from the latin words aqua meaning water and mare meaning sea. It is believed to bring luck to sailors, it also has many different meanings but I decided to go with this for my design. I chose to also try incorporating pebbles and make wire look like seaweed wrapping around the piece. So here a few samples I've made.
